Horizon & demand

Supply

Move, delay or exclude individual POs on the page.

Capacity

Demand overrides

Lines forecast from their own last season instead of the standard method — set from the page.

Planned orders

Orders not yet raised in Exo. They land in the chosen month.

Peak by site

Seasonality in this forecast

Each site's year — sales by calendar month against an average month

What seasonality does to each forecast month

Pallets arriving into racking

Committed POs, per month, against each site's normal receiving rate (average WMS putaways per month, the 12 months before the WMS feed stopped — each putaway is about one pallet).

Navia shipment dates

Open purchase orders

Estimated pallets use each line's pallet quantity at the receiving site. Changes here are part of the plan.

Suggested purchase orders

When to order from each supplier's lead time, how much from the forecast and cover, checked against racking space when it lands, grouped into POs and fitted to containers. Suggestions only — nothing is sent to Exo.

Racking % full and stock value with the ticked POs

Every suggested PO is in the forecast. Untick a PO to take it out; the charts above show the difference.

Transfers instead

Lines that run out before any new order could land, where another site holds more than the minimum cover setting of its own demand. A transfer is the fastest fix.

Chinese New Year

Nothing leaves an affected supplier from the day the factories close until the first departures after they reopen. Transit is from leaving the supplier to arriving in the warehouse (sea freight, clearance, delivery). Saved with the plan, so a plan can test other dates.

Containers leaving affected suppliers, by week

What the shutdown does to racking, stock value and sales

Containers from affected suppliers

Lines that run short because of the shutdown

Short with the shutdown and not without it, both with their own suggested POs. Sales at risk is at each line's average selling price over the last 12 months (cost where it has not sold).

Which suppliers stop

Exo has no supplier country, so it is read from the address: China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Vietnam (Tết falls on the same days) stop; InMars counts as China because its factories are there. Tick or untick to change it for this plan — check the ones marked not placed.

PO timeline & supplier dates

Settings

Timeline

Each row is a PO: grey is waiting after the order, dark grey is production, the site colour is at sea, the dot is delivery. The red mark is when stock runs out without it, the amber mark when it cuts into safety stock. The chart follows the table's sort and filters below (first 40 rows).

Purchase orders

Dates are estimates: hover a date for where it comes from. "Ask supplier" is the latest dispatch that still lands before the stock is wanted.

Message to the supplier

Pick a supplier to see a ready-to-send note with every open PO and the dispatch date we need. Edit it here, then copy it into an email. Nothing is sent from the planner.

Stock health

months of demand

Seasonal lines to review

Lines that sold at least three-quarters of the last 12 months' units in one five-month season overlapping this forecast. The standard method uses one seasonal pattern per site, so a strongly seasonal line — coolers and fans in summer — is under-forecast in its season. Project orders pass this test too, so nothing here is applied automatically: choose Use last year for lines you expect to repeat last season.

SKU forecast

One row per SKU across all locations, on the projection (Exo POs, planned orders and ticked suggested POs). Figures under each total are by location; locations with nothing are left out. Hover the trend for each location's graph; click a row for the detail. Click a column header to sort; type under it to filter. Lines that sell but have no stock and nothing arriving are not listed here — see .

Where stock is kept: racking or off it

Floor space for bulk stock

Bin locations off the racking

Every Evexso bin that is not a bay (bays look like 18K5). Stock in bulk, mezzanine and other locations is off the racking; transit / display locations (receiving, dispatch, showroom…) are ignored when working out where a line is kept. Change a class here if the name misleads.

Ask about the data

An AI agent answers from the plan on screen. It reads the same figures as the other pages through read-only tools (plan overview, SKUs, stock health, PO timeline, suggested POs, Chinese New Year, storage, and 24 months of sales) and can't change anything. Your questions, and the figures it looks at (SKUs, suppliers, POs, quantities and values), go to the AI provider (OpenAI or Anthropic) to be answered. Conversations are kept only until the planner restarts. Check an important figure on the page the answer names.

Exo data

Read-only queries against EXO_MHA and the WMS staging database, through the same runner and encrypted credential used everywhere else. Nothing is written back.

Evexso files

Inventory-by-bin export for each site plus the location master. Evexso doesn't send bins to Exo, so these come from its reports. The forecast rolls each file forward to today using Exo movements since it was exported.
